We had our ultrasound today and it looks like everything is on track for a healthy baby boy!
Needless to say, Megan was quite disappointed when we brought her blue balloons instead of pink to let her know which way the ultrasound went. Her first words? "OH MAN!" Of course, she is now over it and seems perfectly excited. She has announced that she will be naming him Jackson which will not actually be happening although it is a super-cute name and all.Mason, of course, has no clue what is going on but dutifully gives my belly a little kiss whenever sister does and points to my tummy when I ask "where is the baby?"
Another funny story. Megan asked me the other day, "mom, can the baby hear us?" I told her that yes indeed the baby can certainly hear us. I was waiting for some cute little "I love you baby Jackson" or other such cuteness. Instead, without skipping a beat she ran to the kitchen, grabbed the "That was easy" button from Staples, set it on my stomach and pressed it as close as she could. "THAT WAS EASY!" ........This was the message she HAD to share and pretty much the baby hasn't been spoken to since.
We are due April 23rd, 2009.

Congratulations! I'm a total baby boy convert. Could you just eat them up?
Congratulations!! Love the name she picked out...it is really cute...our kids picked out wierd ones...love the easy button! Classic..make sure you hve it in the delivery room after you have the baby, Greg can then push the button...as if!! haha
congrats! how exciting. our little boys will be best buddies! or maybe mine will take all his toys like tyler does to mason...sorry!! :)
Where's a dancing banana emoticon when you need one? Now Mason will have someone to help him balance the feminine energy in the house and maybe encourage him to pick up a Spiderman dress-up outfit instead of that princess one you posted a picture of him in (which he looked fabulous in, btw)!
Congratulations!
