Our New Home

This year we moved into a new house! I can honestly say that staging, showing and selling a house was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. It was 7 months of OCD meets mommy dearest. Definitely not the way I had planned to raise my kids! I like toys out and the kitchen cluttered with dinner prep and laundry in its various stages of completeness. It means that we are living in and using the home we have been given.

What a welcome relief to have sold our home just in the nick of time... Actually, we could have used two extra weeks but who is complaining? We ended up packing everything into two PODS and storing them for a few weeks while we went to California for a week and then stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Rotz for two weeks. We finally moved into our new home on April 12, 2008.

We love it and are so happy here!

Easter

After packing everything we owned and moving in with Grandma and Grandpa Rotz, we flew out to California for a welcome vacation. Greg stayed home to work a few days and Jennie tried to get to California with the two kids. Texas thunderstorms rolled in, cancelling all the flights! Grandma Rotz welcomed us back home with homemade mac and cheese and some vegetables--- the first in days since we've been living on fast food while moving! We finally made it to California and spent Easter with the Perry's.
